Hoist Brakes

In my blog this week I will talk about crane brakes. Specifically, the hoist brakes.
Remember that a hoist can use a chain or a cable (wire rope).
Firstly, for the safety of the worker brakes are normally on. That is to say, if there is a failure with an electrical or mechanical component, the brakes stay on to prevent the load from falling.
Next, Crane Tech has you covered for brake servicing. These are complicated components. Our techs are knowledgeable in how to set them up and we conveniently stock several different brands.
Brand names like Demag, Kito, Shawbox, Stahl, R&M, Budgit, Street and SEW drive motors to name a few.
We also have hoist rentals available to help with getting you through a difficult repair situation.
Please give us a call for any of your repair, service and inspection of your lifting devices.
At Crane Tech we save you money. We work as hard as you do!
Using Crane Tech keeps your workers safe.
So, if you are in East Gwillimbury, Sharon, Holland Landing or Queensville, give us a call.
