Remote Controls Are Amazing!

Remote controls are amazing. We install and use so many different types on the cranes we inspect. Remote controls keep operators safe. They enable the operator to stay a safe distance away from the load. Some workers tell me (while I’m installing them) that the remote will get lost. But I find that workers do look after the remote. They don’t want repair issues. Just like the TV remote – you will always find it lol. Remotes are most common with drywall and knuckle booms. They enable the operator to see the “whole picture” when loading lifts up to construction workers. If the operator is able to move around, they are able to shelter themselves from bad weather for comfort. Or position themselves out of the sun when looking up. All with expert positioning and safety as the most important functions. Industrial crane remotes have similar benefits. The operator is free to watch from the most safe location while expertly moving and positioning the load.
