Scissor Lift Repairs

Did you know that we not only inspect Scissor Lifts… we also repair them! Most of the time Scissor Lift repairs are simple and easy, but sometimes we run into very tricky jobs. Not to worry though, as we have several technicians ready to repair them on a daily basis! Recently we had a situation of a Skyjack 4626 that would not hold a charge. They say that 75% of electrical problems are grounds related… and that is exactly what we found. It turns out that a control circuit ground terminal was corroded, so we replaced it, checked the rest of the unit, and sent it out. Check out some of the interesting technical information when we tested it:
  • At 25.3 volts change
  • Up is 1,500 PSI
  • Down is 0 PSI
  • Forward 2,000 PSI
  • Reverse 2,000 PSI
  • Left is 1,500 PSI
  • Right is 1,500 PSI
  • Current to the Power Pack was between 135 and 150 AMP
After we completed the repair, the battery was no longer leaking charge. Call us today for your equipment inspections or repairs! We service the units that we inspect!
